On our way to Spooky Cruising

So we're here in Seattle, one more sleep before we board the Mercury. We had a pretty quiet drive down, with a stop in Lynden for gas, food and a few snacks. The weather could have been a little nicer but it didn't rain too long and we actually had sunshine and blue sky as we entered the Emerald City.

Unfortunately we left a little later than anticipated and what with our stop, we arrived here just before 4. We then decided there wasn't enough time to get to Pike Place Market and watch some salmon tossing. So Teresa and I headed off to the nearest liquor store for some supplies for the week and T was oh so happy to be carded! She almost kissed the clerk.....

We just got back from dinner at the Outback which was going fairly well and tasting pretty good until the waitress decided the left side of my body required a shower of diet coke. Many napkins later and a brand new meal, comped, I proceeded to dry out. We're back at the hotel now and will likely head down to the pool/hot tub with the Jefferys and at least one, maybe two bottles of wine. Ah, the vacation has started already......
